On the way to Hoche metro, you will be able to pass by a butchery, near the metro entrance (you will not miss it because of the wonderful aroma!). Do try the roast chicken as it's value for money ( 5.50 euros for a whole bird). My family have had it for many dinners during our stay.

The Cite Science center is just within walking distance from the hostel. If you have kids with you, do bring the their because there are different exhibits and programmes catered to different age groups.

To be able to go everywhere, i would recommend that you buy a transport card called "NaviGo" it's valid for 1 week (All means of transport) & costs 23.5 Euros for the first time, then when the week finishes you can recharge it for 18.5 Euros.

Try going to Auchan, some meals are really amazing there and you just have to stick them in the microwave for 5 min. ;-)
