there were a fair few restaurants most had a minimum of 800 yen for a meal but the cheapest places are still the convenience stores and the meals were still fairly decent |

Osaka was the place to go for massages more than decent nightlife in my opinion although Osaka was not short of gorgeous women |

the Sky Gardens were absolutely fantastic, you can see all around for many miles and the view really is terriffic, I just cannot describe it. then there is Osaka Castle which has the most beautiful surrounding area and the Kendo is well worth the watch at the martial arts hall although for a one-off, they do not allow new comers to join in, which is fair enough, it required you to be hit over the head by a big stick a lot and in the sides whilst you hit someone else over the head and in the sides with a big stick whilst jumping around a lot, this is designed to improve footwork, strike accuracy, and strength. it looked very basic but I got the gist of how difficult it actually was |

going to somewhere quiet is advisable after Osaka, preferably out in the rural areas because Osaka can be daunting, especially to someone new to that kind of environment so I would advise Hiroshima or Kyoto as Aomori would be too quiet and Tokyo too loud, too similar to Osaka |

| HI Hostel Osaka - Shin-Osaka YH Only 5min from Shin-Osaka Station (Shinkansen-Station in Osaka). Our hostel is very good location & we have very clean rooms. It is convenient for the sightseeing such as Kyoto, Kobe, and Nara.
