26 Oct 2010 April, USA:
do not go to HI Kushimoto, southern Wakayama prefecture. They are not friendly to foreigners, and will charge you for a normal ryokan room rate instead. They told us they had room, and when we go there they charged us over 12,000 yen! They advertise room for 26 people, and we counted 8 others, local fisherman, during our stay. What a rip off! |

Floating garden in Shin-Umeda lets you see beautiful scenary and night views of the city, but best to go with someone else, coz it's full of couples and love hearts for people to take photos. haha |

If you are planning a few places a day, get the subway day pass $850, you only have to take the subway 4 times to make you money worth. The harbour is a nice place to visit, there's a nice aquarium there if you are interested. Domtombori is the place to go for shopping. |
