We took the 2 hour bus to St Etienne le Tinee to do some walking in the Alps. Cost only 1€ each way and was lovely. |

The HI hostel is Cassis is an out-of-the-way jewel. A 3-4 km walk uphill on coast cliff trail just to get there. Once there, it's incredible meeting place and portal for all the beautiful calanques. Beware that some calanques close at 12 noon or ealier (fire danger). |

HI Hostel Nice - Mont BoronNestled on a hill overlooking Nice, the hostel is at the edge of the wooded Mont Boron park. It is 4km from the city centre and 4km from the seaside. There is capacity for 54 guests and facilities include a members' kitchen and a terrace enabling you to watch the sunset over Nice.
