A 7 day pass for the buses and trams only costs 15 euros which is excellent value and takes you all over the place including to and from the airport, and the quaint village of Eze. You can buy one just outside Terminal One amongst other places |

I found eating in Nice expensive. There's always McDonald's but that's a bit sad! Monoprix sell hot food but it's not that cheap. You can always cook your own in the hostel |

I loved the hostel in Diez near Koblenz, it used to be a prison! and I regularly use the yha in Calais, which is very good |

The restaurants in Place Rossetti are good, and the price is great for students. |

The hostel has a kitchen. We ate in a couscous restaurant behind the hostel. Not cheap but great food and lots of it. |
