Avigon, an hour away on the train (don't go on Tuesdays), Saint Guilem le Désert - nice mediaeval village in hills 90 mins on bus. Well worth it. |

Placa de la Comedie Musee de Fabre Day trip to Sete (Walk up to the top of Mont St Clair, spend time in the Harbour, see the Musee de Valery) Catch the bus to Palavas-les-Flots to have a wander along blissful sandy beaches and a paddle in the Mediterranean Arc de Triomphe Place de la Peyrou at night time to see the St Clairmont Aqueduct in its full glory. |
