La rue de la Republique, it's great for shopping. L'amphitheâtre - it's in Vieux Lyon, just 5 minutes away from the hostel. The rivers Saone and Rhone. They are nice. You can sit at the waterside. |

Nice to bike around Lyon with the Velo (that you can find eveywhere in the street). All you need to do is to buy a short term card (for 1 week) with a deposit of 150euro per bike, then return it every 30min and take a new bike for free. |

The Basilique Notre-Dame de Fourvière is really nice.. and so is St John's Cathedrale! Both are magnificent in different ways. The Fourvière Hill itself also has the Museum of Gallo-roman civilisation within a short walk away. Do visit it! |
