HI Hostel Lyon

Hostel Lyon is located in the heart of the city known as the gastronomic capital of France and is close to Lyon’s Renaissance district, between the St Jean Cathedral and the Gallo Roman Museum. Inaugurated in the summer 98, in a renovated building, the hostel overlooks the city and offers a splendid view of Lyon. With a capacity of 180 beds, youth hostel Lyon offers all modern comforts for you to relax and enjoy quality time with fellow travellers. The breakfast is included in the price, and you will also have access to a kitchen, laundry, TV and free Wi-Fi. Located in the district of Vieux Lyon, the hostel is close to some important historical sites such as the abbey of St Martin d’Ainay, the Saint Jean-Baptiste Cathedral and the St-Nizier Church. Museums on the history of the city, the Gallo-Roman civilization, as well as puppets of the world are just within minutes from the hostel. In winter, the Alps ski resorts are about an hour and a half by car from Lyon, which will delight the sport fans.
