always queue for same day tickets at the Opera, Ballet and national theatre. It's often easy to get cheap same day tickets if you just drop into the theatre of your choice at any other location too. |

Places like Pizza Express - look for the vouchers on the net (just google!) - always consistent quality. Meal deals from Tesco express (Trafalgar Sq) - don't knock it. Picnic in the sun by the fountains! |

The imperial war museum. It has a massive collection of WWI and WWII items, very well organized chronologically, a very powerful holicaust exhibit, and tons of info on all other world conflicts. Best of all, it's FREE |

certain theaters give great reductions for tickets if you cue up early in the morning. I once did go and see "Wicked" this way much cheaper than the usual price. |
