Jermyn St. area had many clothing shops for guys; not budget, but very nice. Grey's Antiques near Oxford and Davies was interesting; one vendor downstairs has gobs of inexpensive pins, pictures, knick knacks.

The Albany is a nice cozy local pub. It's also near Oxford Circus where there's plenty and you can take the tube from Regent's Park to Embankment on the Bakerloo Line.
