Just below Oxford Street, which is a ten minute walk from the hostel, there are loads of pubs and clubs in Soho and Covent Garden that are worth seeing. Keep in mind the closing times in London as many places have last call around 10:30. If drinking's not your thing or if you need something new to do definitely check out one of the late nights at one of the big museums that happen once a month like at Tate Britain.
