Marina nearby. With places to eat and drink. Dont eat at the govindas restaurant it sucks! itis awful and ecpensive. And bad service |

when u leave the hotel for the short cut stairs, go towards the allegre village, there is a great cafe on the main road near the bus stop |

take the train to porto, it's only about 28 euros for normal class and porto is just great for its river (& trips on it), plus the fact that this is the home of port & all the famous houses are just across the river on the other side. they do port tasting too which is fun............ |

Don't take the trainstation Oeiras. It's a walk along a desolate street. Take the trainstation Santo Amaro Oeiras there stop less trains but it's a beautiful walk along the coast. |
