Salzburg only couple of hours away and excellent for a daytrip or more if you have the time. They do an excellent Salzburg card which gives you FREE transport and entrance to all the major museums. Unlike the Berlin/Vienna/Budapest card it doesn't offer you pathetic discounts to museumns you aren't even interested in visiting!

HI Hostel Linz Stanglhofweg

Linz youth hostel is set in a green location close to the city centre. All our rooms have en suite shower/WC and 2 rooms have disabled access. We have a selection of single, double and multi-bedded rooms. The kitchen offers buffet breakfast, half and full board, vegetarian meals on request. We offer many sports and leisure activities: sports ground with Astroturf, TV lounge and common room with table football, table tennis and darts.
