We only had breakfast here once but it was really good (Japanese style) and very reasonably priced.

Amanohashidate basically shuts after 6pm. It's a rural area and quiet - it is lovely though to walk along the sandspit at night and look out into the sea.

Go up the no health-and-safety chairlifts they were fabulous. Also if you keep going right to the top of the mountain,further than the temple there is a panoramic view there which is spectacular.

Just about everything, including most, but not all restaurants, in Amanohashidate closes around sundown. You may have to find ways to entertain yourself at night.
