HI Hostel Knockree Youth Hostel

Our newest 5 star Wicklow Hostel which was previously a converted farmhouse, is set at the bottom of Knockree, overlooking the Glencree Mountains. The hostel reopened in April 2008 after a €4m investment. The Wicklow Way (famous walking route) passes through the Knockree Hostel grounds and so the ideal location for hillwalkers. Our Wicklow Way Hostel boasts all the usual characteristics of a top rated 5 star property including en-suite rooms, family rooms, meeting room, restaurant (catering for groups only), self catering kitchen, and full car & coach parking. All rooms in our Wicklow Hostel have a spectular view of the amazing scenery that surrounds this hostel. Don't Forget ..we now offer adventure activities in conjunction with Eco Adventure Ireland on our hostel grounds for groups including pony trekking, mountain biking, archery, team tasks and orienteering.
