HI Hostel Kamnik - Youth Hostel Pod Skalo

Hostel pod Skalo is a small modern hostel, situated in Kamnik under the Old Castle. Ten rooms are available for the guests: - 5 dorm bed-rooms: 3 twin bed-rooms (with two separated beds) and 1 triple bed-room (double bed-room + one single bed) - 6 double (private) bed-rooms. They are on the first floor and in the attic of the refurnished old middle-class house. Each room disposes with a private bathroom/WC and a wireless internet connection. There is also a internet corner and common space with small kitchen, where you can be seated in the evenings watching TV, playing cards or chess. In the building next to the hostel there is Pub Pod Skalo, reconstructed from an old farm building. It has an interesting interior design with the old-time touch, which represents the picturesque history of one of the oldest inns in Kamnik. Here you can have a cup of coffee or a pint of beer, and in summer you can enjoy ice-cream if you have a sweet tooth! In the evenings you are invited to play table football or darts. There is also a swimming pool nearby and a lot of nice places for other outdoor activities, such as beach volley, hiking, golf, tennis ...
