Check out the food near the main train station in Venice right along the road to St. Mark's square. It's the cheapest in a very expensive town. |

I went to a restaurant and bought a pizzafor 7 euros. Then the bill came. they had charged me 5 euros for a bottle of water, 5 euros cover charge, 3 euros service charge. Be aware of the extra costs, or you'll want to die when you get the bill. ;) |

Buy a travelcard to the waterbuses. Make sure from the very beginning(when you start planning your trip) that you can have a travel card for all the period that you are staying in Venice. |
