Central Venice is very expensive. But if you are willing to wander off the main areas you will find exactly the same stuff on offer for less than half the price. This goes for meals, snacks and souviners. |

The only places worth visiting are the San Marco square and the Grand Canal. It will take only one afternoon to finish all. You don't even need to book a night in Venice. Try to visit in the day and get out of here right away. |
