You do not need to go very far. Joanna is a brilliant cook and especially my son loved her food. It is possible to get breakfast and dinner at Casa Muntean. We have had lunch at some other place on our trip but it was not as good as Joanna's dinners. |

The laughing Cemetry of Sapanta is stunning but was a dissapointment as their were no english tour guides. So if you would like to go there arrange with Florin an tour guide to translate what is written on the grave crosses. Just to drive around the Maramures and look at the landscape, the wooden churches is inspiration enough. Also definately worth a visit is the Monastery of Barsanna. |

Veseu de Sus. There you will find the steam train which will bring you about 21 km up the Vaser River and not far away in Borsa you will find a beautiful waterfall |
