there are is a nice kind of restaurant in the art bilding and sth like a cefeteria at central bilding, both have nice dinner and in central bilding you can have good breakfast |

go out to shibuya or shinjuku, not far away, take odakyu line to shinjuku and stay there or take the yamanote line from there on to shibuya if you like you can have a trip to the hardrock cafe at roppongi, but it takes a little bit to get there |

the yoyogipark at sundays, when people are playing theatre there have a trip to disney sea if you have time look for little temples and shrines inside the little streets go to the sience museum, next to imperial palace, it is kind of a sience game zone and at least, dont miss takeshita dori next to harajuku station! its good for cheap shopping |

We ate mostly the rice "balls" with tuna (105 yen) from the Lawson's or Family Mart, etc. Excellent and very filling. |

Don't miss ANYTHING that you can see. The Bridgestone Museum in Tokyo, Imperial Palace, Tsukiji Fish Market EARLY in the morning, Asakusa Kannon Temple, etc. And, of course, don't miss Miyajima Island, Wonderful Kyoto, Matsumoto Castle, Nara, Nikko, Kamakura/Hase, Himeji Castle, the train from Okayama to Matsuyama and then the ferry to Beppu. All of Japan is not to be missed! |

We are in Miyazaki and will go on to Kagoshima and Kumamoto tomorrow and then on Friday, Dec. 18, we will go to Sasebo, possibly thru Nagasaki first. It's been an incredible 21 days on a JR rail pass. |

You can use cafeteria in this YH. It offer very cheep price about 400Y for morning meal / 500Y for lunch and 600Y for dinner, All you can eat!!!. But I like to spend 1000Y for 1 bowl of delicious ramen outside 5555 |

| HI Hostel Tokyo - Yoyogi YH Die Herberge befindet sich auf dem Gelände des „National Olympics Memorial Youth Centre“ in Yoyogi. Von hier fährt man nicht länger als 30 Minuten mit dem Zug bis nach Tokio, einschließlich der Stadtteile Shinjuku und Shibuya. In unmittelbarer Nähe liegen der Yoyogi-Park und ein Wäldchen mit dem Meiji-Schrein. Beide spenden in der Hektik und Geschäftigkeit der Millionenstadt Ruhe und Frieden. Alle Zimmer der Herberge sind Einzelzimmer. Restaurants und Cafeterias des Youth Centre bieten vernünftige Preise für Herbergsgäste.
Nach den Regeln des Youth Centre sind die Duschen nur von 17:00 bis 23:00 Uhr verfügbar.
Einchecken 16:00-22:00 Uhr; keine Schließzeiten für eingecheckte Gäste;
Auschecken 07:00-09:00 Uhr (früheres Auschecken auf Anfrage).
