Itzik Hagadol 3 Raziel Street (off Jerusalem Boulevard): my favourite restaurant in Jaffa - excellent food. About 20 small dishes arrive on the table just after you do! Cafe Rogette (just around the corner at the north end of Yefet St. This is an excellent coffee shop which offers good food too. I especially liked the Arab Breakfast. Very attentive and friendly service. |

Old Jaffa - plenty of interesting cobbled streets. Sunsets. The sun sinks slowly into the Mediterranean Sea. But why are there no puffs of steam as it contacts the water? :o) |

Yaffa Cafe -- it's only a few blocks away on a design street (filled with furniture design studios). It's a great place for relaxing, checking out the locals and for a pricier experience - go to the dark restaurant, Blackout - at the Na'alot(sp) arts near Old Jaffa. It's a great dining experience in which you're served by blind waiters and eat entirely in the dark. |
