There is a grocery store in town with nice fresh vegetables and fruits and also, some pre-made meals. Family Mart is close by on by the youth hostel and by the train station for snack and toiletries. |

Easy to walk to shops and morning market 10 minutes, The train station and taxi stands are about 20 minutes walk. The Hida no Sato Folk Village ( took a taxi) and other cultural museums were enjoyable. Within walking distance from the Hida no Sato is an Eco-Teddy Bear Museum, If you have young children or teens, you should take a look. Very cute!! There is also a Teddy Bear Cafe next door with cuddly teddy bears to sit with at your table. A nice cozy snack break from a day of touring and walking. |
