Antalya - Dedekonak Pension, Yvonne, Neuseeland:
Antalya Museum - fantastic selection of statues of gods and godesses, and ornate sarcophogi. Easy access via tram. The ruins of the Kesik Minare (Truncated Minaret) are right behind the hostel - has been a Roman temple, Byzantine Church and a mosque. Wandering around the narrow streets of Kaleici with its Ottoman houses in various states of repair - we came across the 400 year old house in which Ataturk's wife was born (as told by the jeweller who had the 103 year old house/shop next door). |

Unbedinkt balik ekmek-Fisch im Brot für 5 TL probieren auf der linken Seite der Galatabrücke am Fischmarkt (Seite vom Galataturm), wenn man von der Seite des Topkapi kommt. Qualitativer Unterschied!!! Es sind Welten zu den Fischbrot-Händlern auf der Topkapi Seite. |
