Antalya - Dedekonak Pension, Yvonne, Neuseeland:
Antalya Museum - fantastic selection of statues of gods and godesses, and ornate sarcophogi. Easy access via tram. The ruins of the Kesik Minare (Truncated Minaret) are right behind the hostel - has been a Roman temple, Byzantine Church and a mosque. Wandering around the narrow streets of Kaleici with its Ottoman houses in various states of repair - we came across the 400 year old house in which Ataturk's wife was born (as told by the jeweller who had the 103 year old house/shop next door). |

Cooking Alaturka, Akbiyik Caddesi 72a (gleiche Strasse wie Sultan Hostel, etwas weiter unten); nicht ganz günstig, aber wirklich sehr gut (dort gibt es auch Kochkurse!) |

Pamukkale - Artemis Yoruk Hostel, Minoru, Japan:
there is a hot spring in next villege. It costs 20 TL without any massage or something. Just I could ocuppied one room with poollike big bathtub. |
