Bucharest - Friends Hostel, Daniela, Kanada:
The "Old Town" around Lipscani Street, it really reminded me of Paris. The new library is very interesting and well equipped. I also enjoyed Antipa Museum (English explaining as well) and Taranului Museum (located one next to another). For shopping go to Real Mall, it's a nice experience. They also have an ice rink if you are into skating in summer time. |

Sibiu - The Old Town Hostel, Lucian, Rumänien:
There is a nice sandwich restaurant with in-house cooked bread, very slightly North of the Brukenthal museum. Or, if you have time, you can go to the mall for a KFC & Mac (some 25 minutes' walk south-west). |
