I enjoyed a chain restaurant known for it's salads (don't have the name with me -- something like Insulata Mega -- the name meant large salad, I believe) - there was 1 next to the Vatican and 1 near the ruins. I ate out with a friend 1 night at a restaurant near the Vatican recommended by Frommer's budget guide; it was good. |

at the end of bus station connecting to tram 2 on but lin e280, there is a place one can make cheap calls overseas plus 2 euros an hour internet. Besides is a famous pizza place for the locals too., 30 some kinds of pizzas baked and slices in size of your choice at budget prices.. |

Termini is the hub of the Italian train system, so hop on a train and do an overnight ride to Calabria. Efficient and beautiful. |
