Of the Porte de Bagnolet, which is only 300 meters, gives a discount of € 1 in the menu if you show the card of the hostel. The crepes warm in the street (more or less € 3) know very well, mainly because of the cold.

	13 Okt 2008 Anna, Österreich: eventuell den kauf des museum-pass überlegen! man spart sich bei versailles, louvre etc überall das anstehen und um einiges billiger kommts auch! gilt für so ziemlich alles interessante (louvre, arc de triomphe, musee d'orsay, dome des invalides, versailles, etc...). und am besten am tag davor schon bei einem museum oder so kaufen (gibts eh fast überall), dann spart man nochmal extra ansteh zeit. außerdem gibts mit der isic die u-bahn tickets günstiger - nicht die einzelfahrscheine, aber die tagestickets! (weiß nicht warum, aber jedenfalls beim kauf vorzeigen)
	03 Feb 2009 Elisabete, Portugal: The Disneyland Paris resort outside the city center, but you can not lose, especially if you have children with you. Catch is easily the RER (subway that goes to the outskirts of the city) that lets you even the entrance to the Disneyland.
	14 Jan 2009 Neil, Schottland: Not cheap because of the £, even notwithstanding parity which merely exacerbates an existing situation; but you'd be pleasantly amazed at the local markets you'd stumble across. There was a particular one at Couronnes on Metro ligne2 ( Nation- Porte Dauphine) selling hot food, fruit, veg, dairy produce, at prices to compare with UK markets. Given that in the shops they otherwise think normal is 1E60 for a litre of fresh milk ( most supermarkets- UHT typically 70-80 cents) or 4E60 for a venti latte and 3E+ for a cup of tea ( Starbucks ) and a Subway 12" meal deal ( veggie delite ) is 7E, compared with £4.99, thats saying something. Mars Bars are approx. 1E50.
	14 Jan 2009 Neil, Schottland: You gotta start off a evening with the Eiffel Tour and to hell with the admission charge. Aslo you can take the good old stairway to the 2eme etage. Its not the spiral one so evocatively used in ( The Lavender Hill Mob ?) with Alec Guiness and ( Robert Morley ?)- but just as exillerating none the less, though they have preserved a bit of the old one on display.
