All arround the youth hostel are small shops which sell food and some of them are even open until 22:00. Do not forget to buy water there because it is much cheaper than buying it in the touristic center of Paris. |

I can only recommend visiting the Centre Pompidou museum of modern arts. If you go there in the evening, you have a quite nice view on the Eiffel tower. Like any national museum in Paris, it is free for european citizens up to 25 years included. You should - of course - also visit the Eiffel tower, but I guess you would have done without me telling you. I went there one and a half hours before sunset on a wednesday and didn't have to wait more than ten minutes to get up using the stairs. You should try to be at the top half an hour before the sunset. |

Berlin is quite different but simialar to Paris and definitely worth a visit. I stayes there at the "Wannsee" youth hostel which offers better breakfast and rooms at a lower price but is also a little outlying. |

In der Jugendherbergskueche gab es das guenstigste Essen. Danke dafuer, da machte auch das Abspuelen danach nichts aus. |
