The dining hall in the hostel is fine for really cheap, simple dishes, but for a bit more head across the road to the Java Cafe. Nice breakfasts and dinners for a reasonable price (about USD10 for a full meal, including drinks) and then there's Hurlingham just up the road if you want cheaper. |

The tourist desk in this place is pretty good and can link you up with heaps of stuff. Though a bit expensive if you're on a really tight budget, safari tours to the Maasai Mara, Lake Nakuru and Lake Naivasha are a must. |

Head by train to Mombasa - overnight with a variety of classes available. Nice trip and you arrive in Mombasa in the morning and it really lets you know it's a coastal town. |

David Sheldrick Elephant and Rhino Orphanage in Kenya National Park, Nairobi. You need to be there just before 11am for the one hour of public viewing per day while the elephants are fed. | HI Hostel Nairobi - Nairobi International Youth Hostel Die 3 km südwestlich des Stadtzentrums gelegene Herberge ist der ideale Ausgangspunkt für Besuche des nationalen Wildparks Nairobi, des National- und des Eisenbahnmuseums und des Massai-Markts.
