Les Arenes. We loved the Feria des Vendanges. We visited Arles too and followed the Van Gogh trail, also Aigues Mortes and the Camargue, also for drinks on the beach, Copacabana near Les Saint Maries de la Mer, was ideal. We met no mosquitoes at all on the Camargue and had a good boat trip on the Tiki 3. |

I was very impressed with the Arena - a Roman amphitheatre, the Fountain Gardens and the cathedral in Nimes. |

The must are the Pont du Gard and Avignon. I also liked Grau du Roi - a seaside town South of Nimes. |

Nimes' beautidul jardin de plantes. Make sure you see the arena at least from the outside, its spectacular. Paying to go inside isnt so rewarding as theres modern metal scaffolding which spoils the ancient effect a little. |
