I ended up just hanging out at the hostel and it worked for me. Met really great people there and enjoyed the music Andy had playing. Andy is a gem and makes the whole place much more friendly. |

Outside of Nimes, check out Arles, great town, lots of appealing streets and places to wander. Avignon during the theater festival works if you are an extrovert! |

Take the walk down from the hostel to the Jardin de la Fontaine via the La Tour Magne. It really gives u stunning views of the city and helps u match all the landmarks easily to the maps |

The arena is one of the best preserved in Europe. The audio tour is fantastic! Le Jardin de la Fontaine is beautiful! You can take up to half or even a full day wandering around and having a relaxing day in the sun. Le Maison Carre is an interesting place to see, it's very enlightening as to the history of Nimes |
