Places like Pizza Express - look for the vouchers on the net (just google!) - always consistent quality. Meal deals from Tesco express (Trafalgar Sq) - don't knock it. Picnic in the sun by the fountains! |

The imperial war museum. It has a massive collection of WWI and WWII items, very well organized chronologically, a very powerful holicaust exhibit, and tons of info on all other world conflicts. Best of all, it's FREE |

certain theaters give great reductions for tickets if you cue up early in the morning. I once did go and see "Wicked" this way much cheaper than the usual price. |

I believe the busses are - though more complicated to find your way with - still cheaper in use than the underground ? Oyster card recommended of course, for use and re-use any time you come back to London, very practical |

| HI Hostel London - St Pauls YHAKosmopolitisches Ambiente mit vielen Sehenswürdigkeiten drum herum! Die Jugendherberge ist in der ehemaligen Chorschule der St.-Pauls-Kathedrale untergebracht. Von der ursprünglichen Einrichtung ist viel erhalten geblieben, wie etwa die Eichenpaneele der Kapelle, die jetzt als Versammlungsraum dient, oder das Rektorat mit Aussicht auf St. Paul, das als Aufenthaltsraum genutzt wird. Viele Sehenswürdigkeiten sind von hier aus leicht zu erreichen, insbesondere Tate Modern und das Museum of London. | mehr...... |
