You'll find excellent and reasonably priced food on nearby Trubarjeva cesta. There is even a vegetarian restaurant in a patio near the crossing with Resljeva cesta. |

Within the city just take a walk along the Ljublica and you'll pass most of the intersting sights. The museum of contemporary history was also very interesting, the nearby tivoli park is good place to relax. The castle is nice but nothing special, and overcrowded. |

Bled (about 80 min bus drive from Ljubljana) with the picturesque lake. Also good for a day trip - a great lido and nice fish restaurants. |

For good eats check out 'Sokol' near the cathedral. Waiters dress like slovenian style and are funny! Very good dishes and not that much expensive |
