when u leave the hotel for the short cut stairs, go towards the allegre village, there is a great cafe on the main road near the bus stop |

take the train to porto, it's only about 28 euros for normal class and porto is just great for its river (& trips on it), plus the fact that this is the home of port & all the famous houses are just across the river on the other side. they do port tasting too which is fun............ |

| HI Hostel Lisbon - CatalazeteDie Jugendherberge Catalazete ist in einer restaurierten Festung aus dem 18. Jh. in Oeiras untergebracht. Die Lage ist ideal, um Lissabon und die Küste von Estoril zu erkunden. Hier findet man zahlreiche Freizeiteinrichtungen wie die Sportanlage Vale do Jamor mit dem Nationalstadion und das Meerwasserbad direkt neben der Herberge.
