Checkout the food court in the old PO pavilion at the bottom of 11th street....good free views from the PO tower too. It is easy to take the circulator bus on K St. around the corner of hostel to Union station where there is a food court as well as stores. |

Poets and Busboys is buzzing at all hours up on U St and 14th St NW. Take the green DC Circulator bus with stops on 14th St NW (for only $1) instead of the metro or city bus. It's quicker and cheaper. |
