I eat out of the grocery, getting fruits, vegetables, and a can of meat (maybe tuna or sardines), but that's just me. For $1.57 at Fresh and Easy near the Highland Metro stop, I got a banana, a can of Vienna Sausages, and a Snickers Bar (but that's just me again.). |

For free is near the Highland Metro stop in LA which has the Walk of Stars, Grauman (sp. ?) Chinese Theater, and others. Plus on the street are lots of interesting costumed actors and performers almost every day and night, including in the winter. |

The winter and weekend only Ice Show at Knott's Berry Farm which cost only $15 at the toy gate (ask when you get there or check online). Also "Water World" and the "Studio Tour" are not to be missed at Universal Studios (But the $74 one day or annual admission is a bit much in 2010.) |
