Mont Saleve for something different to do outside of the city. Take bus number 8 from Cornavin to French Border, and from the top of Mont Saleve you get some beautiful views back over Geneva. Cable car to the top of mountain and back runs summer time only, so only option in winter is to hike up and down like i did

If I had of know I would definitely gone to CERN the home of the Haddron Collider! but you have to book at least 1 month in advance... that's what they recommend. It's a free 3 hr tour I will def come back for that one! The museum of contemporary art had a great exhibition and was just as good as any other I have been to in europe. Check it out if you're into that kind of thing!

close to the PlainPalais tram station there is a bar called Central Perk, just like the one in Friends (series), if you are a fan, you should go there.

Die Jugendherberge liegt am Genfer See, zirka 1 km vom Zentrum dieser idyllischen Stadt mit ihren Parks, Uferpromenaden und der herrlichen Aussicht auf den Mt. Blanc entfernt. Die Altsstadt sowie zahlreiche Museen und Galerien sind von hier aus leicht zu erreichen.
