A cinema showing English films, some lovely restaurants particularly Italian, Seafood (the local cuisine is amazing) and many late opening cafes or bars. |

Igreja do Carmo (a Renaissance style church with a chapel of monks skulls... Macabre but amazing to see) and the Ria Formosa is astounding so do a boat trip around it. The cathedral is also stunning! |

go along the coast to lagos as it is the best resort on the algarve. visit arrifana if you like it wild and beautiful. |

get the train to lagos. go on a bus to aljezur as it is a pretty village. go to monchique on a bus and climb out of the village to the top of the mountain for the best view of the algarve, but it is a long walk but worth it. |
