Avoid the obviously expensive hotels (e.g. Ruze, Dvorak, etc.) Otherwise it is hard to find a bad restaurant in CK. Check out the menu prices before you go inside... At least one place in the town square offers 2 meals for the price of one at certain times of the day. Local Vietnamese minimarket (across Benes Bridge) offers reasonably priced food, which you can cook free of charge back in hostel kitchen. |

The whole town is entertaining, day and night. Try Traveller's Hostel itself on a Friday night, or the Two Marys (Dwau Marii). It is a safe place to take a an evening stroll (unless you want to go on a scary Ghost Walk?) |

the castle gardens, walks by the river, hike to Zlata Koruna monastery, river rafting, cycling, castle gjkded tours at around 6 Euros, Egon Schiele art gallery, theatres. The Tourist Office in the square is a visitor attraction in itself - helpful staff and a well stocked souvenire shop. |

| HI Hostel Cesky Krumlov - Travellers Hostel Die Herberge verteilt sich auf zwei Gebäude mitten im Zentrum von Cesky Krumlov. Die Stadt, von der UNESCO zum Weltkulturerbe ernannt, liegt in Südböhmen, zirka 200 km südlich von Prag, nahe der österreichischen Grenze.
Unser Haus verfügt über 102 Betten in verschiedenen Zimmerkategorien: Gemeinschaftszimmer, größtenteils mit 8 Betten, Privatzimmer und Appartements mit Blick auf Schloss Krumlov. Außerdem gehören zum Angebot eine Bar mit gelegentlichen Live-Konzerten, ein Restaurant mit internationaler Küche, Internet, Waschsalon und Büchertauschbörse. Bettwäsche ist im Preis inbegriffen.
