some good menus on the rambles but you have to look hard for them, we found a place that was 7euro's for a mixed starter, main course and a drink. |

Barcelona must be one of the best places to party, i was there 4 nights and out every night, drinks are a little expensive but if you have a little cash then you can have a great time. avoid the rip off bar crawl that goes from the hostal every night, takes you to 3 bars and then a club that is free anyway! also take a note to the prositutes they flock round you and then rob you of everything in your pockets.... |

....Pay attention to pick pockets... they are very good. they often wear athletic clothing (loose, baggy, with running shoes) you will not catch them I recommend renting a bicycle to see the city properly (much easier than buses) btw if you need to get to or from the airport in the morning and the station at Plaça de Catalunya and the line is long (they can be from the airport rush in the mornings) try gathering a group of 4 people (total) and taking a cab. it only costs €6 per person (instead of €4.20 for the bus and is substantially faster and works well if in a rush. otherwise the cab ride to the airport is about €24 |

If you're not into clubbing, simply go for a stroll through the narrow streets of the historic quarter or go to the beach - there are always some musicians around, creating unique atmosphere of Barcelona's nights. |

| HI Hostel Barcelona - Center Rambles Die Jugendherberge liegt mitten in der Altstadt, nur 100 m von den Ramblas entfernt.
