The Trollstigen road uo to geranger an then if you go further in the lands you will reach a kind of rocky deadland and you'll see a mountains that you can climb by car.It is really impressive, you reach 1500m, beautiful lanscape. |

if time allows, rent a canoe (pretty cheap) at andalsnes camping site which is only 15 mins (pleasant) walk away from the hostel. go along the rauma river. both sides are beautiful. bike is also available for rental at the camping site. and the cakes there (ask reception) tasted wonderful. buy a little more and they give u discount. |

very good breakfast served in the hostel. a supermarket across the river plus another on the other side of the road. better buy food and cook yourself. also possible to ask hostel staff to prepare take-away lunch for u. |

| HI Hostel Åndalsnes Die Herberge Åndalsnes liegt idyllisch 1,5 km vom Zentrum der Stadt Åndalsnes entfernt am Romsdal-Fjord und umgeben vom spektakulären Romsdal-Gebirge. Unsere Herberge, eine der ältesten im Land, verteilt sich auf drei Gebäude eines Gehöfts. In unserem freundlichen Haus finden Gäste saubere Zimmer und Gemeinschaftseinrichtungen vor und darüber hinaus bieten wir ein großes Außengelände und kostenlose Parkplätze. Unser berühmtes Frühstück ist im Preis inbegriffen.
Die Jugendherberge verfügt über eine ruhige, entspannte Atmosphäre und ist ideal für Kinder. Die Lage ist äußerst günstig und alle Attraktionen sind leicht zu erreichen. – ideal für Ausflüge per Fahrrad oder Auto oder auch auf Schusters Rappen. Zu den möglichen Ausflugszielen gehören Trollstigen, Geiranger, Ålesund, Molde, die Atlantikstraße und Kristiansund.
