HI Hostel Hualien - Tienhsiang YAC International YHThe Michelin Guide to Taiwan, also known as the "Taiwan Green Guide", lists 38 towns and regions in Taiwan as three-star highly recommended destinations, the Taroko National Park in Hualien with worldwide well-known gorge scenery was on that list. Tienhsiang is a tableland located in Taroko National Park, which is 485 meters above the sea level , and 45 kilometers from Hualien downtown. Tienhsiang Youth Activity Center was built in 1978, design by the famous architect master Mr. Bao-de Han. The building climbs up to the hill in accordance with its natural shape, it earns the name of “Labyrinth” with its 6-floor delicate construction, and won the best award of Architecture Magazine in 1979. | more...... |
