Take the local bus for $.75 US and go into downtown Hsinchu City. Lots to do and see, shopping galore, all prices. There's even a Burger King, McDonalds, Subway, Starbucks, Dunkin Doughnuts, etc. |

HI Hostel Hsinchu - Chunghwa University Internship Hotel International YHThe Intern hotel was inaugurated in September 2000. Located on the 6th and 7th floor of the R&D Building, it is the largest intern hotel in the nation in terms of guest room number. With a lobby on the 7th floor, 4 VIP guest rooms, 8 single rooms, 36 double rooms and elegant design as well as decoration, it provides exquisite rest space for wearing spirit. There are independent air conditioner, smoke detector, 20 inches remote control TV, writing desk, mini-refrigerator, electric water boiler, internet access, campus phone service and hair dryer in each room. The intern hotel functions as training and practicing venue for students in learning how the room and guest services were provided in real hotel operation. It is expected that knowledge and experience with respect to hotel management may be learned by students through their in person participation in such a make-believe teaching environment.
