Go first to Balestrand a great hostel in a lovely setting, then take the early morning ferry and bus to Jostedalsbreen glacier, leave your luggage at the glacier museum after visiting the glacier get the late afternoon bus to Hellesylt |

There's plenty of good walks, the hostel or the tourist information can provide route maps for 20 Kr. Ferry leaves for Geiranger, the journey is beautiful. |

HI Hostel Hellesylt The hostel has a beautiful location, overlooking Geirangerfjord. Ample possibilities for fishing in the nearby rivers, lakes and the fjord. The hostel has hiking maps available, with many suggested tours, a beach and a small craft harbour. Important sights: Hellesyltfossen waterfall, the Synnylven church and the mountain farms at the Geirangerfjord.
