Can't go wrong with Tim Horton's, though they don't accept Visa - just Mastercard. Weird, huh? There was a good pita place in the nearby downtown mall, too

There was a place with frog or toad in its name in Osbourne Village that was a sociable locale. They had some trivia games and such as well.

We loved the vegetarian restaurant at the hostel. We also enjoyed the wide variety in the food court at Portage mall which is only about a block away. We cooked some of our meals also.
