To get from Union Station to the hostel, take a Circulator. You catch it on upper level of Station where bus parks. $1 exact change required. Also goes to Georgetown from hostel neighborhood. |

Very few restaurants/cafes around this part of the city. Some are indicated at the hostel. The cafes/restaurants at the museums are really poor quality... |

Supreme Court of Justice - lecture around 12.30 is extremely interesting Library of Congress - the largest library in the world and most probably one of the most beautiful one; great exhibitions, incredible treasures; very good (free) guided visits Obvious visits: the Smithsonian museums, the Capitol, the Holocaust memorial |

Newseum was great--but at $20 admission would not be for everyone. However, since the ticket is good for 2 days, coordination between 2 people would reduce the price to $10 each if you go on 2 seperate days. |
