HI Hostel Shuswap Lake

Located in the historic Squilax General Store, the HI-Shuswap Lake Hostel sits on the shores of Shuswap Lake, one of BC's most popular summer vacation destinations for swimming, canoeing, horseback riding, whitewater rafting and hiking. Situated halfway between Banff and Vancouver, the hostel is in an ideal location for a stopover. We are in a wilderness setting but have hot running water, as well as a campfire pit and a native style sauna. The hostel dorm rooms are in three converted Canadian National Cabooses (rail cars).
