Tommy's on Van Ness Blvd. is great for "comfort food". Decidedly not for folks who do not eat meat, but for excellent turkey, roast beef, ham...all at good prices, this is the place to go. |

If possible, rent a car and travel north along Rt. One to Pt. Reyes and Inverness. The hiking trails along the coast are spectacular. There are buses, but they are few and far between. |

Jac'k, in the Anchorage center has a $5 breakfast, and I like Round Table on Van Ness. Sadly, the Round Table across from the Safeway on North Point was closed. |
