If your time is limited and you want to see lots I strongly recommend buying a 24 or 48 hour ticket for Starline Hop on Hop Off tours. Their busses go in three loops with a dedicated Santa Monica line (yellow line). The nearest stop from the hostel is a three minute walk away at the corner of Ocean/Broadway. Tickets can be bought on the bus or at the Starline office at the pier. I went for the 48 hour option which set me back 55 USD. Even though a little expensive you receive good value for money. Way better than the overpriced tours offered by the travel agency next door to the hostel. |
