Renting a bike to cross the Golden Gate Bridge is really fun. You can take a ferry back to the Wharf.

There was a restaurant called "Soup Freaks" between the Museum of the African Diaspora and the Cartoon Art Museum on Mission Street. Very delicious soups and sandwiches, for a pretty reasonable price! I also recommend checking out the food scene in Chinatown, or getting gelato at Cafe Puccini in Little Italy.
