Top of the Mark, Carnelian Room at top of Bank of America, but be prepared to drop big $$$ at these spots. Check local papers for cheap and free events.

All tourist guide recommendations- Lombard Street, Coit Tower, Golden Gate Park (Aquarium, Japanese Tea Garden, Asian Art Museum, etc. but all require substantial entrance fees) Golden Gate Bridge, Ferry Ride to Sausalito, Walk the Embarcadero, see Chinatown along Sacramento Street and Side Streets as Grant Ave. is mostly for tourists only etc., etc. Walk North Beach, Clement Street, take trolly car to the Ocean. Possibilities are endless.
25 Mar 2009 Janet, USA:
London or Paris, maybe Amsterdam or Bruge for lots to see. Seattle is pretty nice in late spring through fall with lots to do and see. Just go do it!
Don't miss... 15 Mar 2009 Sabrina, USA:
Alcatraz is awesome. I rented I bike and cross the Golden Gate Bridge and then kept riding to Sausalito and Tiburon, it's a wonderful experience, it doesn't require a lot of condition neither. The hostel has good discounts for the day rental, use them!
For good eats check out... 14 Mar 2009 Amati, England & Wales:
Walk to Larkin and hang a right turn - theres a top class Thai restaurant on the right hand side. So much better than the Vietnamese in the opposite direction where the wine is appalling!.
